Following the peripatetic winds...Currently, I am working on a writing/story idea. I had set aside the story for a year and about a month ago I was trying to figure out why I had abandoned this project. It hit me. Well, not literally, but figuratively smacked me upside the face, waving it's middle finger at me. I was trying to explain too much, my thoughts were too vivid, and it was too hard for me to explain everything in words because I just can't. There is so much complexity and so many subplots, it's hard to keep track of what's what.
I needed pictures. I told Val (~celeceravian) about it, my friend who is making the jewelry for the Nevarlwo store -- (she is an artist and graphic design major) and I mowed over the idea of turning my story into a graphic novel instead of a word-inspired migraine (which is has been for the last four years (yes, that's right. four lousy, strenuous, problematic years)). She agreed and thought it was a great idea.
I did make two new purses, if and when John ever takes pictures...who knows when I will be able to post them. One is made from merino wool, the other is made with lamb's wool.
I hope Val posts some pictures or concept drawings to show what's been brewing in my skull. We'll see. Now, off to work and bringing in Dunkin' Donuts for John.
